Turks in European Cities Housing and Urban Segregation

The housing conditions and housing market options of Turks in Western Europe are critical but under-discussed issues. Many Turks still occupy the less favourable sectors of the labour market, low income levels restrict housing choices and discrimination imposes additional limitations. In this book, leading scholars in the field describe the housing conditions of Turks in Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, The Netherlands, Sweden and Switzerland. Moreover, the authors go beyond description to explain the housing market positions of Turks.
