This volume incorporates empirical and theoretical studies from all realms of human violence. The first part presents a bio-psycho-social study of violent prisoners. The probalistic research on the violence of the prisoners is supplemented by a situational analysis of a "danse-macabre" which leads to the act of violence or the violence avoidance cues which lead away from the violent act. Sexual violence is analyzed within the context of the rapist-victim dyad; violent drivers are presented as a special case on non-normative recklessness; inner-directed violence is presented in a study of suicide; and finally, a model of macro-violence is presented examining the holocaust as a symbiotic entanglement between nazis and jews.
