Viral and Immunological Malignancies

The precise relationship between viral infection and malignancy remains an epidemiologic association and the subject of active investigation. Nonmalignant hematologic disorders have a similarly complex relationship with cancer-associated viruses and may offer insight into the pathogenesis of oncogenesis.
