Europe and Developing Countries in the Globalised Information Economy Employment and Distance Education

This text explores the impact of information and communications technologies on the changing economic relationship between Europe and the Developing World, in the context of telematics-related trade, work organization and distance education. The contributors elucidate the reasons why the phenomenon of globalization need not be a battleground of competing nations.
