This book examines select research topics in the study of entrepreneurship. Technological growth, entrepreneurship, and unemployment influence each other in numerous ways, forming a trio of inter-related components. This book empirically explores the interrelationship between entrepreneurship, unemployment, and growth in a dynamic context using vector autoregression (VAR) with panel data across sectors of the U.S. economy. Also discussed are immigrant entrepreneurs and small business owners and their access to financial capital; factors affecting entrepreneurs among veterans; and an assessment as to whether the U.S. bankruptcy system is effective in providing small businesses a "fresh start" after a bankruptcy filing.
