Text and Thought An Integrated Approach to College Reading and Writing

Text and Thought offers a comprehensive approach to both Developmental Reading and Writing for a new type of developmental course that combines reading and writing. Students are first guided through the application of skills and then given an opportunity to practice skills independently. Included in the text are excerpts from college textbooks in the social sciences and health sciences, short stories, newspaper articles, and poetry. Each chapter focuses on both reading and writing skills.
